What is Brow Lamination?
If you already have thick eyebrow hair, lamination is a good alternative to Microblading/Ombre Powder because it works with your existing hair, giving you your ideal brow look without the use of needles and pigment insertion. Brow lamination is essentially a perm for your eyebrows, but without using the same harsh chemicals. It tames unruly hairs and sets them in place for a fluffy just-combed look.
Pre-Care to Prepare for Brow Lamination
It's best to avoid using retinol and topical over-the-counter and prescription acne treatments for at least 48 hours before your treatment since these products can sensitize the skin, and potentially lead to irritation. Arriving at your appointment makeup-free with clean skin also helps the process.
For the first 24 hours: Don't wet or rub the are, avoid applying creams, oils, and brow or eye makeup on the area. You should also skip that workout and the extra-hot shower.
Who is NOT a Candidate?
This treatment is not recommended for people who have scratches, burns, or scars near the eyes, have eye contamination, skin conditions, or inflammation in the eyebrow area or if you have had allergic reaction to makeup in the past.
How Long Does it Take?
The treatment takes around 30 - 45 minutes, neatly fitting into a lunch hour.
How Long Does it Lasts?
You can enjoy results for up to 6 - 8 weeks depending on your natural brow hair. After 6 - 8 weeks, your brow hairs will return to their normal shape and you will be ready for another treatment." Plus, there's no maintenance needed throughout.
